Privacy Policy
We make cozy games for kids and grown-ups, and we collect as little as we can. This policy explains what our games do with information, including how ads work for players of different ages.
Who we are
Squeak Machine and Sky Glider are made by Torvellan ("we"). You can reach us at games@torvellan.com.
What we don't collect
- No accounts, sign-ins, names, email addresses or phone numbers.
- No chat or messaging with other players.
- No location, photos, contacts or microphone.
What stays on your device
Your progress (stars, catches, best distances, the trap you built, sound on or off) is saved only on your device. We never receive it. Deleting the game deletes it.
The first time you play, we may ask for your birth year. We use it only on your device, to decide which kind of ads you can see. We don't send your birth year to anyone.
Ads
Our games may show ads from Google AdMob. Ads are always optional, for example "watch a short ad for a reward", and they never interrupt play.
- Players under 13: we tell Google the ad request is for a child. Google then shows only ads suitable for general audiences and does not use them for personalized advertising or build a profile. We do not show the iPhone "allow tracking" prompt to these players.
- Players 13 and older: Google may use your device's advertising identifier to show and measure ads. On iPhone this happens only if you allow tracking when asked. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent first, and you can change your choice any time from the game.
Google's use of information is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Children
Our games are made for everyone, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you're a parent or guardian and believe your child's information reached us, email games@torvellan.com and we'll delete it.
Your choices
- Turn off ad personalization in your device settings (iPhone: Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking; Android: Settings › Google › Ads).
- Change your ad consent at any time from the game's privacy option.
- Delete the game to remove everything it saved.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the effective date above.
